Welcome ! St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is the only Catholic School in the town of Bacup. It has a thriving nursery of over fifty part time places.
With an average class size of twenty three children, at least one Teaching Assistant per class, it offers “a flying start” for your children (OFSTED 2007).
Offering all the advantages of a Church school its roll is not limited to Catholics but rather caters for families who believe in giving children a strong moral understanding of today’s world as well as an excellent all around education.
St Mary’s is proud to be called an Extended School with a breakfast club beginning at 8.00 every morning and our After School Club - Busy Kids -running from 3.20 and 5.30 everyday.
